Karimun Mission TripMabel and Steven gave Karen and I a lift to Harborfront from Clementi. It was so early man! I had to wake up at 4.30am to prepare everything. Had breakfast at Harborfront before boarding the ferry. I think there were about 15 other people going with us. Haha...
After 90 minutes of ferry ride, we reached our destination! :)

The queue at the customs was so long man! The wait was quite frustrating ah... Hmph...
Anyway, the Karimun people drove us to the church after that. Their vans were so cute eh... Small and nice :)
In the van~ Heex :DAfter praying at the church, we went to the Muslim slum.Took quite a lot of photos.

Steven was telling me that this was only seen in Singapore during the 70s. It was used like a pulley to carry loads up to a higher level. Hmmm... Had a meaningful time over at Karimun. The children there are so different from those back here in Singapore. I realised how fortunate I was to be able to live comfortably here.
Definitely won't hesitate to go back to Karimun again some time soon.
:) :)
made another new promise ][-
